Heavy Vehicles Forbidden along Certain Roads in Siem Reap

SIEM REAP: Siem Reap’s Department of Public Works and Transport has suspended the allowance of heavy trucks to pass through certain sections of roads to preserve their longevity as floods inundate the region.

Blocked roads include National Roads 64 and 67 and Provincial Roads 265E, 67, 2668, 266, 2673, 2676, and 2645. Roads in the area are prone to flooding and endanger the integrity of the ground and the safety of the public during excessive rains.

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology predicts that Cambodia will continue to receive heavy rain in the coming days and advised people in flood zones to use caution.
